As an undergraduate I majored in Art at the University of Tennessee, specialization: printmaking. My MFA is from the Jan van Eyck Academy in Maastricht, the Netherland.
Having children and combining printmaking is very difficult indeed (too much time needed at the press) and so I started concentrating on painting. Another thing I really enjoy is drawing from life using conte crayon and watercolors, I like the results.
I also enjoy painting with egg tempera, it is tedious but the end results are worth the effort.
